President's Message
The motto for my service to Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society for the years to come shall be to promote Sikhism and Education (Sikhi-te-Sikhya).
I feel that the educational system in the country has been facing hardships from the past several years due to lack of better facilities and opportunities for the youth to excel in their fields of interests. As a matter of fact, overall economic growth has remained disconnected from employment generation noting that young people continue to suffer from persistent unemployment and lack of quality job opportunities even after attaining best education.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chowk Pragdas, Amritsar was established under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan on August 18, 1987. The aim of the school is to impart comprehensive education to enable students to attain their optimum potential. Every effort is made to encourage independence of thought and action, to inculcate self-confidence, and to make them grow up as right-thinking individuals and ideal citizens.

At Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chowk Pragdas, Amritsar, we aim to provide children with a comprehensive and global approach to education so as to make them well equipped to face the cut-throat competition in every walk of life—mentally, physically, and emotionally.
At the same time, realizing that Generation Z, our young learners, require information at the speed of light and proper guidance, the school constantly updates itself with the latest teaching pedagogy. It also accepts the challenge of nurturing warm, empathetic souls by connecting them with religion, culture, and tradition.
